EXAMPLES of RGB IMAGES out of OIII and HA IMAGES
All Image Processing with PIXINSIGHT

VELA SUPERNOVA

The image was built as a mosaic out of 4 parts (quarters).
Exposures:
127 x 5  minutes with  H-Alpha filter and
200 x 5 minutes with OIII filter, using a
FLI Proline 16803 CCD-camera on a
Takahashy FSQ 106 with 530 mm focal length on a
Paramount ME mount.
Binning 2 was used to get the "unvisible" details.
During image processing we tried to create a RGB image using OIII and H-Alpha .
Color mixture: Ha only in the red channel, OIII with different percentages in the green and blue channel.

All images were exposed remotely on the Siding Spring iTelescop Farm at T08.

37 x 10 minutes H-Alpha exposures and
54 x 10 minutes OIII exposures

Small Magellanic Cloud

The image was built as a mosaic out of 4 parts (quarters).
Exposures:
176  x 5  minutes with  H-Alpha filter and
176 x 5 minutes with OIII filter, using a
FLI Proline 16803 CCD-camera on a
Takahashy FSQ 106 with 530 mm focal length on a
Paramount ME mount.
During image processing we tried to create a RGB image using OIII and Ha only.
Color mixture: Ha only in the red channel, OIII with different percentages in the green and blue channel.

All images were exposed remotely on the Siding Spring iTelescop Farm at T08. During  August 2018 and September 2018.
